Editor Human-Only Editing and Confidentiality Agreement

Do not share, republish, discuss, or use customer material for any purpose outside the accepted assignment.

Complete the edit personally. Do not generate, rewrite, paraphrase, translate, summarize, correct, or analyze customer content with generative AI, automated rewriting systems, AI-assisted grammar tools, or external writing-analysis services. Only a cIAo-approved, contractually controlled workflow may be used when cIAo gives written assignment-specific permission.

Every submission requires a truthful declaration that the editor completed the work manually and did not upload customer content to a personal or unapproved external AI service. An expressly enabled, assignment-specific cIAo-controlled checker is the only narrow exception. A false declaration is a material policy breach.

A reviewer may flag concrete signs of prohibited AI use. The flagged submission is immediately quarantined, is not a valid customer document, and cannot be paid while the flag is open. A human administrator reviews the underlying evidence; an automated detector score alone is not treated as proof.

If a human administrator confirms prohibited AI use, the submission remains invalid, unpaid earnings for that assignment are void, editor eligibility is suspended, and cIAo may reassign, cancel, or refund the customer order. The evidence and decision are retained in the audit record.

If the evidence does not establish prohibited AI use, the flag is cleared, the submission returns to human quality review, and no violation sanction is applied.

Complete the work personally and keep all communication inside cIAo.

Preserve the writer’s intended meaning, follow instructions, and escalate conflicts, specialist needs, or concerning content.

Remove temporary local copies after submission or immediately when access is revoked, and confirm completion manually.
